aww ,really sorry it arrived like that, you can contact seller and complain thay may do something,
if not happy then you can open a dispute via ebay if necessary
we tink collecters need to help each other
PM me

it seems like you are in the UK. was this US ebay? i would see if its worth returning it, but would defintly contact the seller and kinda complain that they didnt post the actual picture and disclose the scratches. Oh and before you do anything make sure you review the aution and scroll all the way down to make sure they didnt mention all the above

Just be sure the listing states that returns are allowed. Some sellers don't allow returns or refunds. I'm sure the seller doesn't want negative feedback so hopefully something can be worked out. Good luck.

The bent post is easily fixed since many times they do get bent in shipping. Carefully (and I mean carefully) straighten the post with a pair of pliers and a soft rag. I fix mine all the time and only once had one break off (my being in a rush). As to the scratches, tell the seller that the item was not as described and see what they want to do. It's wrong to not show the correct pin and note all the flaws when selling it.

I believe Ebay has rules that is there is damage to an item it has to be listed in the auction, you can even contact them if seller does not make it right. I know it is hard when you really wanted the pin!

occasionally they will refund your money and let you keep the pin because they don't want a bad review. then at least you have something until you can find one again!
