We're hoping to get the Frozen clapper for my sister, she just graduated with a media production degree. Hopefully our friend will come through for us to get one!

Oh, Oliver. In the box. ;( I can't watch that part of the movie without tears. I can't help but call out, "I'll take him!" But if I did, then there goes a great movie....

It's an adorable pin, though.

Same here on that movie scene. One of the reasons I dislike deciding to watch that particular movie, despite it being a favorite (named two of my own cats after characters in it) is because the beginning is just so darn sad. Actually, the cat I named "Oliver" was an orange kitten we had found right outside in the rain, curled up in a ball, by the doorstep. I mean, what else would I have named him?

Sad memories (he is now gone), just have to force myself to get through that beginning in order to enjoy the rest of the movie!

:)

I love that you rescued your own Oliver. That is so sweet. I'm sorry he is gone though. I hope there are good memories with him.

I guess you could always do what I used to do with the beginning of Tarzan (with the baby gorilla kidnapping). I would just skip over it and start the movie with the second scene in. Sadness averted! I can't do that anymore, though. My kids discovered that Tarzan started before they thought it started and refused to let me skip it any more.

For some reason, I have never skipped the box scene in Oliver and Company. I have no idea why. I just sob through it.
