:sad:This is not a new situation, but newly annoying to me: people listing for trade pins NOT yet in their possession :(
i see people listing Imagination Gala pins before the RSP has been run!
Personally, a (I'm assuming new) trader agreed to my offer. Then I hear they are waiting on SHIPMENT of the pins from a friend. It is a week past expected shipment receipt:sad:, and trader is ignoring my messages on New PP. Sigh
 
I'm okay with trading for something they still need to receive as long as I know they still need to receive it. Otherwise, it's pretty annoying yeah. I never pre-trade anything because I want to have the actual item in hand to inspect it and see if it's in perfect state, and I don't want to disappoint anyone later on.
 
COMMUNICATION here would make things much better. I've heard nothing in a week, and they should have received the pins a week ago...sheeesh.
 
I see and agree with your point. Communication is vital. They should have let you know upfront that the arrangement was dependent upon them getting the pin; giving you a choice as to whether you wanted to continue with the arrangement or not.
