Hi everyone!

I thought I'd share a look at my collection. My forum name is PinnieMouse, so it's probably not much of a surprise that my main collection is Minnie Mouse! I've loved Minnie ever since I was a kid, and she's always been my favorite Disney character (Ariel being my favorite princess).

My Minnie collection is actually pretty specific. I mainly collect pins that feature Minnie dressed up in outfits other than her classic red polka-dot look. I also prefer pins with no background and no words or lettering. It's a niche within a niche, but that's what makes collecting fun!

Of course, like many collectors, I'm already running out of room and trying to figure out how to rearrange things because I have several new pins that still need a spot on the board.

I also have a soft spot for Disney Shopping/Disney Auctions carousel pins. They have a similar aesthetic that I love—clean designs, character-focused artwork, and generally no distracting backgrounds or text.

Thanks for letting me share a little piece of my collection journey. I love to see what everyone else collects and whether anyone else has oddly specific collecting rules like I do!

Love the user name and the collection! I recently started a Minnie red polka dots collection, so we are opposites . It is one of my favorite collections now. I love finding new pins that fit the collection.

Those carousel horses are awesome! (And I love your pin boards, so pretty & stylish.)

Focusing on an exact, specific kind of pin design is much harder to collect, but it makes such an impressive collection. I always struggle between wanting a pin just because it’s a character or theme I love (especially one that rarely gets pins), & sticking to the kind of designs I actually like.

Oh my!! This board is the cutest. I love the cohesion of all the polka dots. It’s too funny that we are exactly the opposite Minnie collectors.

Thank you so much! I made the pin boards myself. The carousel was the first one I made so it has the cork color backing but I have decided I love the black velvet because it really makes the pins pop. Just haven’t changed that one yet.

Yes, the niche makes collecting hard but since there are so many Minnie pins it makes it a little more attainable to be specific.

I am also always a fan of get any pin that brings you joy!
