My husband went today to pick up Thor but was told at DTD Pin Traders, DTD World of Disney and LGM that pin not available, some production issue. Was there any available at WDW? I see actual pins selling on eBay so don't understand what could have happened.
 
They were not at WDW. I had purchased one through a person out there. They refunded my money and this is what they told me:

We checked for this pin at the Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary Resort, but neither place had the pin. The CM at the Magic Kingdom told us that she heard there were errors in production and they didn't get any to sell.

We are going to refund your payment for this pin, since we aren't sure if it will actually ever be put out for sale.
 
I managed to get 2 of the Thor pins at downtown disney pin trading store at disneyworld the clasp part of the pin is just loose to open and move abit to the sides but not as in loose they will fall off I asked to check more of them and all the ones she showed me where like it so it must be all of them that has this fault they are a really nice pin and even the person behind me brought 3 so they are still selling them and I was there at 1pm when I brought mine

I was at WDW DTD around 4pm tonite and managed to snag a few as well. It appeared they had plenty. Dodo me though didn't check the pins prior to checkout and didn't notice til I got home the wobbly clasps. Glad in a way to know it wasn't just mine but rather the production run.
 
On the disneys park collections website it says that the Thor pin will now be out on the 21st of November at disneyworld do you think they have now fixed these? Or just changed the date? I don't know if I should take mine back to see if they will change it for the others if they have fixed them? Some help me out what do you think?
 
A freind of mine is at wdw right now and is picking me up some pins including the Thor pin. I wonder if mine will have the loose hinge also.
