On average how long does it take most people to reply to private messages on pinpics

depends on the person. I usually check PP once per day for messages, sometimes I miss them. Like right now, it says I have one message but I can't find it! LOL
 
It depends. Some never respond and others are quick. I am only on pinpics like once a month so I check messages then.
 
A lot depends on what you are trading and what you are wanting for your trades. I have had pretty good luck with pinpics, but when I send out requests I do a bunch at one time.

Put in the time here and you would probably have good luck trading here.
 
Just FYI you can't post in the trades forum but I see no reason you couldn't post in the introductions saying what you collect and if you have a different PinPics ID post that too .
I check my PinPics fairly often but I don't send out many trade offers as international postage for single pins is steep for both parties , when I do response times are wildly different although I've found if I focus on new releases I get more responses I guess because at least then you know that the member is active .
 
A lot of people have migrated to social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to trade in person or through the mail. Sad
 
I just added some pins from my collection into my traders and sent out some trade request for the first time. Someone taught me how to navigate pin pics now. I can't believe how simple it was once I knew what I was doing.
 
I try to check pinpics everyday. After not trading for awhile, I made three trades in the last week. All three were initiated by the other trader. I haven't had much luck starting a trade myself. Maybe trying to trade with people who are not too active.
 
I am not having great luck with Pinpics. I have sent out probably 50 trade requests - received about 8 answers and 2 actual trades. I have much more luck here or on Facebook. But I am very picky with who I trade with on FB due to being burned a couple of times (someone takes my pin and does not send me the promised trade and then blocks me so I can't contact them). I prefer here - great people here!
 
Lately I've made a few good trades via Pinpics, a few good trades via Facebook, and a few good trades via looking at the trade threads here and sending people PMs. Through all of those sources the responses vary widely (including PMs here); some people respond right away, some after a while (if they've been out of town or something, including me) and some never respond at all.

There's no guarantees! You pretty much just have to keep on communicating with people and you'll find the ones that respond. Best of luck!
