One of my favorite pins ( and the story behind it)

This is one of my favorite pins in my collection. Im new to pin trading, only a year or so now and I mostly collect stitch, figments, animal kingdom, and random things I like.
Theres a reason this is my favorite pin and it's more so the story behind it and I thought I'd share the story here. My dad is never going to see this but I needed some way to tell people how awesome he is.
So this pin first of all is just funny, and when I first saw it coming out, it reminded me of a lot of internet jokes I had read. My dad and I went to the very first weekend of star wars weekends the second day. I had just moved to orlando for internships and my annual pass was expiring so we decided to go when he came to visit. We both always liked star wars!
I told my dad about this pin and how funny it was and that it was my main goal the whole way into the event. I knew it was limited edition but it was one of the very first days so I thought no way it'd be sold out ( still very new to pins at this time). We got in line for merchandise right away and the first thing the girl says is that its sold out. Bummer. I picked another pin that I barely liked and gave up on it. We still had an awesome day though for sure!
Fast forward to christmas and Im opening stuff and I open up a pin package and low and behold this pin is in it. Im a little shocked and kept asking how he even got this. It was sold out so fast and I hadnt even seen it on the bidding site. Turns out he not only found it on a website, he did a personal meet up with a person to get this pin on one of his trips to visit me. I don't want to know how much he paid, but the fact that he remembered that pin specifically and went through all that trouble to get it for me was really nice. My dad does stuff like this all the time and he thinks I dont appreciate it but it means a lot. This pin is also just super cool and it will surely get its own display once I move and get settled.
Cheesy and long yet simple story but I had to share it with someone! Im new to this forum but thought this was a good place to do it.
