One of my grails finally arrived 2 and a half months after purchasing it!!
So I had been trying to get the Alice Reveal Conceal pin for quite some time. I missed it several times here on the forum and also on Ebay. Finally two weeks before Christmas, I managed to win an Ebay auction for it. The only snag was that the seller would not ship to the UK. It was arranged that the pin would be sent to my husbands friend’s address in the US. He was visiting his mum for Christmas, and could bring the pin back to the UK at the beginning of January. I couldn’t wait, I was sooo excited. It seemed a perfect arrangement, but to my dismay, the pin never got to him before he returned to the UK.
He said he would get his mum to post the pin to the UK, which again seemed great. How long could it be, only another week to ten days to wait surely. However, days turned into weeks, and during the course of January and February we kept leaving messages for this guy, but was rarely able to get hold of him. Over time, the excitement was lost, as it felt like I would never see my pin!
Finally yesterday, my husband returned home from work …. and he had my pin …… its gorgeous and well worth the wait ……
He said he would get his mum to post the pin to the UK, which again seemed great. How long could it be, only another week to ten days to wait surely.
