I'm hoping someone can help me with this...

So I finally obtained my regular Disney Store Rapunzel doll in the hopes to transform her into a OOAK. I tried removing her head so that I could reroot her...but no luck. :( Her head seems to be attached differently than a Mattel doll and her neck started splitting when I pulled too hard. Has anyone been successful with this? Any help would be appreciated. I have heard before some people have used hot water to make the vinyl more pliable, but I'm worried about warping and such...:anxious:
