I have four of the ten: Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, & Snow White. Those IMO were the best looking of the group so I only bought those. I know they have recently gone up in price and I'm at a loss of what I should do with mine.

I have never used them. They stay wrapped in their original wrapping from the store in the original bag. I was planning on using them when I finally had a house of my own. Sadly that hasn't happened yet. But now I feel silly knowing I will be drinking out of a $50-$60 mug...and what if I chip or break one? I did intend to purchase them for use but am considering maybe keeping them in a display cabinet or maybe selling them?

What did you do with yours? Do you use yours? Let me know!

OMG Snow White. She is my grail mug, you are so lucky!

Now on to the question. My mug collection is split into two. There is my mugs that I drink out of and my display mugs. The display mugs are the ones that I decide are too valuable to risk damage, the ones I would be devastated about should anything happen to.

As you can probably guess, those are display only. For example, I have designer Belle and she stays on display with my Belle goodies. Same with the Art of Ariel mug (who might not be valuable at all but I can't bring myself to use her.)

Also, sometimes my display mugs accidentally turn into pen holder mugs for my desk. LOL.

I don't use any of my mugs and just display them on the shelf in my "Disney" room.

I have a couple of Disney mugs that I never use, only put them on display. My family does not get it and are always going at me not understanding why I buy so many mugs if I am never going to use them.

I drink out of a couple, and I have a couple that are just for display My sister drinks out of hers!

I have the Snow White mug and use it every day... that's mostly because she is my favorite and I literally squealed when I saw it in the store and love it too much not to use it all the time, for all of my liquids, haha. I'm just praying it doesn't get knocked off the shelf or anything, I don't know what I would do if it was ruined...

I display my mugs that I have as well... although they may not be $60... I still think they are pretty, and Im scared to break one. >w<

I own all of the Designer mugs to date, and luckily almost all of them were bought at retail price (only for a couple of the original 2011 series did I have to resort to eBay, but at still relatively decent-ish prices). I only use my 2011 Designer Snow White mug, with the rest of the 2011 Designer Princess mugs along with the Designer Cruella and DFDC Snow White mugs in my drink ware cabinet. The rest are in storage.

The mugs are actually quite sturdy. I have never chipped or broken any of mine. I do use a non-cheap coaster to prevent any chipping on the base and I do hand-wash my 2011 Designer Snow White mug after each use, even though they are supposedly dishwasher safe.

I would certainly always keep the 2011 Designer Princess mugs, because in my opinion, they are the prettiest of all of the Designer mugs and we all know how rare/hard to get they were!

Wow thanks for the replies. I'm thinking I'm leaning more to display them with other Disney collectables. Thanks for the responses!
