Whats the story on this set?? Was it available at all, did it really sell out, did anyone get it, was it listed at all on DS.com??

I am not a Princess collector but I would like to follow what happend here, thanks.

I think it was said in another thread, they were listed and never active. Kind of like a place holder.
 
Can someone point me to where it says this is D23 please? I don't see anything on the page or in the pictures indicating this is a D23 only item.
 
Here is the thing that is causing the confusion. I think this is a mistake. Why? Because if it was a D23 item the certificate of authenicity would have D23 on it.

 
Thank you for clarifying. I really appreciate it. It looks like it should be a mistake. I sure hope so. It doesn't make sense for this to be a D23 only set.

Might be like the Legacy Framed set which is also tagged with a D23 Membership Required tag - a perk for being a D23 member???
 
It is not like the Legacy framed set at all. The Legacy set has D23 at the beginning of the title, the princess set does not. Also the Legacy set has this in the product details: "this limited edition framed set has been created exclusively for members of D23", the princess set does not have any language about D23.
 
Since it was posted as sold out without a release date??? does anyone have a clue to whats up, No one from Disney is returning my calls.

When the site first puts up the description, they put in a quantity of 0 which automatically does a "Sold Out". When the item goes live, they revise the quantity and the item can be ordered. Disney has to enter the description way ahead of time, otherwise items would come up really slowly. In the past, some descriptions had been active for weeks before the item went on sale.
