Are you kidding me?

[/IMG] A Fantasy pin LE 150 stated??? It showed up the same day as the Pinpic listing and the person who has it on eBay is selling it for the same price as a real Disney DSF LE 150. I should make my own pin and see how many I can sell. Nah!!

That's weird. I can't believe there's a mail box pin from up.

There is but not the mail box itself and this is a REAL DISNEY pin not one someone made thinking they are going to make a fast buck. Not saying anything but the person who listed the pin - well you can look at their Haves and Trades and make your own personal opinion but not on this thread. Only with PM's please. That would be wrong to assume??

we saw the people who made these over the weekend! They were trading them really hard as well. It was cute in person. But that's a lot of money for a non Disney pin....

Over 12,000 pins in their collection :) Pretty awesome!

Can you PM me their Pinpics id? I got curious.

I am guessing that they might be trying to raise funds to go to the Sept event maybe ... I am not impressed with the pin though, it might be cuter in person, but the pic is not soo great. I wonder why would people pay so much for a fantasy pin.

The auction listing relies on a word play, but it does not openly declare it as a fantasy pin. Shame!

I'm not opposed to fantasy pins BUT I think it is a little shady to make a pin and then try to immediatley sell it for $55 to play on the "UP" craze right now. I don't like the "LE 150" part because that is obviously not regulated and there could be thousands of them floating around. Its not real and I'm not gonna trade like its real. Make a fantasy pin and sell it for $20 if you want but don't be like "this will be a tough trade because its an le 150" because that means nothing if you made it yourself.

I'm going to make a fantasy pin of stitch dressed as jessica and jessica dressed as stitch standing next to each other. LE 25. Who wants one? ha!

Where can you see who listed the pin? It doesn't say on the page? I'm curious as well.

Search the "what's new" section for it and you can see it says "added by ......." I guess I don't know what "Master" is hinting at. Their collection/traders/wants looks normal. I think the pin is ugly. Couldn't see spending any money on it or trading an LE for it. Maybe a HTD hidden mickey just to say I have one but it looks lame to me...

I want the LE 25 Stitch dressed as Dug, can you make one for me too. I hear thats goes for $50.

I have learned that a member here on DPF is the creator of the Mailbox Fantasy pin. Now when I hear about the Mailbox pin I am thinking of a certain Eeyore. Hmmmm.

Come on people, if your going to trade for this pin and spend or trade your hard earned money, you can actually get a real Disney pin or a small Grail you are looking for. You can actually buy a REAL DSF LE 150 pin. And I hope you do not really believe this is a LE 150. You can not be that D__B!!!!

I did a feeler on ebay for the price and HE is taking $48 at the least. He is taking home $42 after fees from each pin off the bay and who knows how much from real collectors that think this pin will be worth anything. With a little investment, he is getting real pins to sell on his ebay site and maybe get real good pin just because UP is hot right now.

I will gladly trade any of you for the pin when you figure in a year that you were taken in on this scam. Look at all the other Fantasy pins out there. There is also someone on this Forum selling their old Fantasy pins. You can see what they actually go for. Not much and they are easily found.

You all complain about scapers on this Forum and on Pintalk but is this not the same thing?? Someone making a pin to sell and trade collector for their hard earned money and real valuable/tradable pins? Again, YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!

And do you not think it was weird that he "left" the other Forum and came to this one?? Now you know why?

How about all of the Fantasy Ellie Badge pins that showed up when the DSF pin (pinpics #70628) first came out

That was so obvious!! And it was meant as a cute pin, not a Fantasy pin that is charged $50. That Safety Pin pin was and is only selling for dollars as it should be. Not a trader that comes on this Forum to make money off of us or at least some of you that support this type of action. And you see some around disney, nice free marketing/advertising. It got the word out but too bad it got back from who everyone got them from.

I think the Ellie badges were cute. I am looking for one of the Stitch Topiary fantasy pins I think Dizpins did. It's on pinpics but you aren't allowed to trade it. I would say it is probably worth less than twice it's original price of $9, maybe in the $14-$18 range? I've never seen one for sale so I don't know what they go for. That is ok, it's just a fun idea and isn't about making a ton of money. It's just filling a desire.

But asking $40+ for that piece of crap is a little redonkulous. The colors don't match well the artwork is not good and it looks less like the actual mailbox. The DSF pin has the mailbox right. Just copy the colors at least from that and maybe it's worth $7.50-$10 max and that is shipped.

Thank you for that. I would like to have the UP pin but for what its worth not what the member is selling it for.

Have you noticed that all of a sudden the "member" who listed the pin just became Anonymous
