Pin 90021: UP - Carl & Ellie Mailbox with handprints
For whatever reason, the Ebay seller seems to have changed their Ebay - id on 04/06/12. Wonder why?

Because the pin has been determined to be mis-using the Disney name by advertising it as Disney.

AJC (Adam from Disneyland) is the creator/seller of this pin. I think it is WRONG to sell it as a Disney pin on Ebay. FRAUD.

No problem with Fantasy pins...so long as they are disclosed as such.

Sources tell me -there are LOTS more BAD pins coming from the same manufacturer -as I received an offer to purchase a Bad Tangled design.

we saw the people who made these over the weekend! They were trading them really hard as well. It was cute in person. But that's a lot of money for a non Disney pin....

sorry...still new here.... How do u "Trade Hard" when the pins are fake/non-disney pins. Are the ppl at the park that like to trade for that crap.. mayb i should get in to that biz also. Im sure i can make anything ppl want to blow there cash on.. lol

"Trade Hard" means for this thread, one person has a pin let's say worth $12. It's a popular theme and he then wants a good trader for it. Knowing UP is "Hot", many nubies may want it bad so in turn think trading a good pin will get it. For this example, the trader who made the pin says its rare and worth $50. Not knowing, a trader sees it in his book trader book with real Disney pins and hasn't seen it in Pinpics yet may want to be the first to get it. The trader offers something but is asked what about this and those. Now for a cheap pin, he had good valued pins for the pin he made. He now gets those real Disney pins and trades up for better pins and eventually sells them on his ebay site. So for a $12 investment (but his cost is much lower) now sells the pins for above the $50 he traded for.

Long story short - trading hard is: you want it bad and the trader knows it so the trader wants more than what your willing to trade. Usually unfair traders do this to get better pins in their book because someone wants it that bad.

I think this thread should maybe be closed to stop anything else from going further. Yes its a fantasy pin and should be sold as such and not as disney but there is not a lot we can do.
