Ok, so today I got my beautiful set of Lion King on Broadway pins in the mail, pictures of which i shall post asap. Anywho, one of them looks like a little kiddo got their sticky hands on it. How would you recommend I clean it?

Hey, thanks for the tips! This may have seemed like a stupid question, but I was halfway out the door while writing it, and I wanted to make sure before attacking it with cleaner.

I discovered a box of pins from our WDW trip in 2012. This set of princess toddlers looks terrible! I have no idea what happened. They were stored in a dry dark box in the back of a closet, but they have a patina coating-like dried toothpaste- and the backs are discolored. In some places the metal has taken on an iridescent sheen. Any ideas on how to clean these pis? I used my jewelers cloth on them which worked wonders on the front, but I would like to polish the metal. It reminds me of oxidized copper, but I'm hesitant to use metal polish.

and I hate photobucket right now. I can NOT get these pics to save in the proper orientation.
