Hello,
I saw this and took a picture because I have never seen it before. Does Disney make keychains from pin designs?
The back (and even the hook that the chain attaches to) has the hat stamp.
Can anybody tell me more?

I suppose they could do that... I haven't seen a lot of them, but I have seen someone who turns pins into keychains!

I do believe WDI did this with some of the sorcerer hat pin designs. I'm pretty sure I saw a keychain once with this Alice Sorcerer Hat:
Pin 79532: WDI - Sorcerer Hats Mystery Pin Collection - Attractions #2 - Alice in Wonderland

yes - these were sold at Mickey's of Glendale (WDI); they did several of the mystery sorcerer hats but not all of them. (keychains were not mystery, though)

I saw something similar on the auction site - keychain of the WDI sorcerer hat Stitch. I've never seen keychains based off any other pin designs so maybe it's just this set?

I would have to say yes, I went to the reagan library and many of the president pins were also keychains and magnets too! from the D23 expo pins,
