Have you ever looked at a pin/pin set and would have loved it to have a higher/lower edition size??
Post your comments below!

oh man...

the piece of history.. ((not podm)) would have been so nice if they were le1000 instead of 2000. such a great concept, but the edition size kills interest.
DS.com edition sizes are so weird. DP is le150 but DV is 200? come on.... and some of thier low editions are ugly, but some of the high editions are loverly. Its like they got confused....

R/C girls... limited release my butt... those baby trade and sell like le100's!!! They need ta bring those back!!!

I agree! I would also have loved it if the PoH had lower edition sizes because they are really nice pins!

Yes the Piece of Disney History series definitely wouldve been better with lower LE. For me some of the DS.com sets are low quality, and I dont think deserve some of the low edition sizes they get at times. I'd like to see Disney make some quality LE sets. I want to see better pins from you DISNEY!!!!!

I'd rather see higher edition sizes. How much I like a pin doesn't depend on edition size. The lower edition sizes just make them more expensive and harder to find, especially since I have almost no access to LE pins at original retail price. I'd be perfectly happy to see everyone be able to get the pins they like at a reasonable price.

I am frequently wishing certain pins on my wants list had a higher edition size. These are pins that I would love to own, but I know I will never get them because they are so hard to find. A lot of my most wanted Peter Pan pins (see my signature) are Limited Editions of either 100 or 150, and that frustrates me because even when I am lucky enough to find them, I usually can't afford them. And on the off chance that I am lucky enough to find them, AND they're listed at a price I can afford, there's a good chance that another Peter Pan collector else will get to them first.

+1. When I decide I want a pin, it has absolutely nothing to do with Edition Size. But I sometimes find myself giving up and removing pins from my wants list because they are too hard to get.

I kind of wish both Designer sets (Princess and Villain) were equal in edition size (200 being more preferable than 150). I feel like the difference among other things is why the DV set is worth far less. Also, no, I don't have either Designer set (I don't have any Designer pin out of the 16 but I do want them all).

I personally wished all the pins I really want were open edition so I could afford to get them. Most of the pins I want are between LE200 and LE 1000. Most of the pins I want are affordable, I'm just too broke to buy them.

In my experience edition size doesn't always determine if its a nice looking pin or not. There are plenty of LE100's that are ugly as sin. There are plenty of OE pins which are absolutely stunning.

I agree 100%. For me it's about the pin, not it's perceived value or rarity. The current dsf craze for even the unattractive pins boggles my mind. (Granted, a lot of their pins lately have been really cool) I wish only people who wanted a particular pin would buy it so that everyone who wanted it could get it. They should make a lot more than 300 pins of popular characters. JMO

Well for me edition size means nothing also. My holy grails have an edition size of 2500 WDW POH series 1 and I still can't get them. I wish they would number them on the back like DLRP does now that would be cool.
