The other thread was closed,I do not know if you closed it yourself, but I think you might want to close this one as there was alot of feedback on the last one, plus some park pins can be found online or eBay

If you are really serious about setting yourself up as a 'pin finder', I would suggest the following:

1. Set a reasonable percentage (maybe 10-15%) with a minimum and maximum fee.

2. Do a few for a smaller percentage first (maybe 5%) until you build a reputation and some feedback.

3. Post some information about yourself and your knowledge/experience with Disney pins.

4. Accept that people will only need the assistance of a 'pin finder' for pins that are very hard to find (your other thread mentioned that the pins shouldn't be too hard to find) - otherwise they would just find the pins themselves.

thank for the help im trying to make this work i took yuor adives and change it form 50% to 5% and if you have any other tips tell me and i'll take it under consideration

My advice is to take it from the other side. The "finder's fee" should be charged to the seller, not the buyer (or have it split between the two). Take yourself out of the mix (shipping wise) and do the negotiations for both parties (seller & buyer) and once you come to an agreement on price (that both are willing to pay), have them each send you 1/2 the fee (seller & buyer) and then you provide the seller and the buyer with each other's contact information. Then the buyer pays the seller directly and gets the pin shipped directly to them.

:like: though I think either way works just fine since there might be a trader/seller who's on the fence about selling a very hard to find pin and maybe, she/he might cave depending on the price that the buyer will offer to the seller. That's why I think communication between buyer and seller is important.
