Pin Quest Scavenger Hunt at WDW

If this pin pursuit is like last fall's Remy pin hunt at Epcot, all the pins were available at the Disney outlet stores for half price within six months.

I don't think the price is that bad, considering you get 7 pins and the lanyard and lanyard decoder medal, and the other game items like maps and pouch. Even if you were just paying for the pins and not the extras, that's only $11 per pin, cheaper than a lot of rack LR pins.

Is the WDW Pin Quest still going? What are the chances it lasts another two weeks(when I will be there)?

I was there last weekend and it was still going on. Hope you get to participate!

I bought the WDW decoder w/lanyard and only bought the Stitch and Ariel pins. While I like the 2 pins I bought, to me, they are pricey for the size and the overall character choices odd or interesting (not my themes, so no need for them). I hope to trade for the completer pin, as the Stitch, decoder and completer are the only ones that fit my themes. I'm hoping everything ends up at the outlet, inc the completer. But, we shall see.

Pricey, but still the sort of thing I would get suckered into... I LOVE Disney scavenger hunts. When we went to WDW for our honeymoon, we actually spent the largest amount of time playing Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom (and a round of the pirate one). I regret that I couldn't do the Adventureland Trading Company one from a couple years ago. Now I regret not being able to do either of these ones >_<

Disney, why you no do these during the off-season when we actually go?!? SRSLY, would it have killed you to run the pin quest from, like, October to May?
