Every now and again pins break or are otherwise damaged. I have a Jafar pin I got off Ebay that's in this category: http://pinpics.com/cgi-bin/pin.cgi?pin=15753&sid=1136.1339675314.v2

I don't know if it was damaged and the seller didn't mention it or if it was damaged in transit, but they do not accept returns under most circumstances so we'll have to see what they say. In the event I'm stuck with it, here's the problem: it's a slider pin attached by a single post. The snake's head wiggles side to side, but two nubs on the back of the snake's head ensure that the pin cannot rotate further than the snake's body. The post however is bent, meaning the snake head portion is angled away from the body portion, resulting in an ever-flopping pin. I could glue or solder it in place, but I'm afraid this would damage the value of the pin given that it is limited edition. I don't mind for my own collection, but I'm sure another trader would rather have an intact pin.

Does anybody have any ideas on how to repair this pin to be as it was?

Ok its NOT off the pin..just bent slightly?I use a small needlenose pliers and I bend mine back in place ..I do not know if it would work on yours though as its very delicate
but you could try...or take it to a jeweler maybe they could help you

So, is the pin itself damaged or just the post? I don't have this pin nor have I seen it in person so I'm not familiar with how it slides. If the post is just bent, do what Judy said and VERY SLOWLY bend the post back a little at a time. :)
