Pin trades

Just to throw in my two cents.

I have been getting trade request emails from pinpics saying that someone has requested a trade from me. It has correct info of a pin I am trading for an pin I want. I get all excited and go on to pinpics to respond, and there is no request. This is now happening every time I get a request. I then have no way of contacting the people to let them know whether I am interested or not because I don't have their email address and I can't respond through pinpics because it doesn't show the pending request. I have tried to request the same trade back to the person, hoping they may get the request, but I have never heard back.

Maybe other people are having the same issue and are unable to respond to their requests?

I talked to someone about this and this is how they explained it:

When you get the emails, it means that it was sent using the OLD pinpics site which is why the email is sent. If you scroll to the middle of the email you can see who offered you a pin and what that pin was as well as the pin they would like from you.

The new site is supposed to be totally on site only, meaning trade requests come and go through PMs on Pinpics.
