Pin trading at Magic Kingdom/Epcot

I just returned from WDW and there are tons of lanyards and pin boards at the parks and resorts...I saw very few guest traders with pin books/bags.

Ask the registers if they have pin boards (they are often hidden or facing backwards behind the register) and I'm sorry I missed the King Pin Trader at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Apparently he only makes trades during the week at 2:00. He sounds like a lot of fun! :)

Honestly, some of the best pin trading I've gotten is at the resorts! Hop on the monorail from Magic Kingdom and do some stops (and the resorts are really nice). But most of the big stores in each section of the parks has a board. Just ask and if they don't have one, they'll point you in the right direction. :3 here are some I remember off the top of my head:

Magic Kingdom :
Pin trading outpost in Adventureland
Outside of the Main Street fire Department (where Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is)

The first big store in Animal Kingdom, just over the bridge

I think there's one in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Studios.

And EPCOT in Canada, and I'm pretty sure there's one other but I can't think of it off hand.

With respect to trading with cast members, I've had the best luck in Animal Kingdom (look for the cast member in the stroller area) and with the custodial staff in the Magic Kingdom.

I would think guest trading is a little rare. But CM trading is best in Animal Kingdom because of all the people that are CM's there! But be careful, lots of their pins can be scrappers.

I had good luck finding all the new Hidden Mickey's in August last year by the bus drop off area in DTD.
They had a board there that was filled with new HM's and REAL pins and all the bus driver's lanyards had new pins on them too - it was great :D
