FYI...

Was working fine earlier, I refreshed and got a weird video & "Hacked by XNTZ warrior"

Old pinpics seems ok.....but if they got one, the other is suspect.....

Yeah, is there any way to contact the ADMIN? I get a crazy Palestine Today video showing a town being bombed, a mosque and what looks like a nice family enjoying a sunny day along with a crazy song! REally weird.

pinpic's had been hacked

Incredible but pinpics had been hacked , You can't still access via the gallery.

If you visit a website after it's been hacked, is there a chance there was a virus planted there and it will infect your computer? I didn't go over there to see, because I was afraid my computer might become infected.

I've run both Avast anti-virus and Malwarebytes on my computer after visiting the page, there doesn't seem to be an infection. In some cases a hack could cause trouble like that but I think this one wasn't meant to be dangerous, just...weird.

It does mean that somebody had write access to the website, which possibly means they have access to the configuration files for the database, which could also mean they have access to everything on the database including your login info. So if you use the same email and password everywhere, you might want to change them for your other accounts.

It is possible for that to happen, but pretty rare.

Adobe Flash player and Java are the usual ways for possible infections to spread. Always make sure you're running the latest Adobe Flash player (they update it like every 3 days, I swear), and make sure you have the latest Java or just disable it unless you need it -- not a lot of websites use Java anymore nowadays*. Also, using a browser other than Internet Explorer will also reduce the possibility of malware infection. Firefox or Google Chrome are solid options, or Opera if you feel adventurous. If you are on a Mac, Safari is pretty good, but there are a few malware extensions that target Safari -- but you have to manually install them rather than merely going to a malicious website.

* JavaScript is something completely else, and practically every site uses some form of JavaScript, so you need to keep that enabled.

Short version: Yes it's possible, but not likely from this site. Keep Adobe Flash updated and don't use Internet Explorer and you should be fine.

It depends on whether pinpics uses encryption software for their usernames and passwords. Which unless they dole that out to another company for coding of their website, I suppose they probably don't.

Anyway, these attacks by ISIS are really getting out of hand. There are plenty of peace loving Muslims out there that advocate in a way other than terror, just join them already.

End Rant.

Pinpics won't load for me now. Is anyone else having issues? I'm wondering if the sites down again? I know the hack video was gone this morning and I ve been on today but can't access the page now
