I'm sure this has happened to all of us. I had these pins below soon after their release and traded them for other pins that I wanted at the time. Man...just think of how much more I could trade these pins for today if I still had them. I swear these pins weren't that sought after even a few months after their release. Uggg!

Pin 80878: DSF - Tangled - Rapunzel and Flynn in Chair
Pin 80880: DSF - Tangled - Maximus

Most of my Little Mermaid collection I either sold or traded for my Snow White collection. I absolutely love my Snow White collection and wouldn't trade it for the world but I do miss some of the Little Mermaid pins. I'm still debating whether or not to try to get some of the pins back. There is only a couple I really want back.

Well i had 6 bts little mermaid....i collect her but what did i do??...

Traded every one of them uggh...also i had beauty and the beast bts...and robbin hood..all of them...
And could have bought as many as i was...
gosh ....bad move!!!

But i feel better knowing im not alone...
Ohhh also i could have traded bts tangled on its relese date i got two mind u...for the tangled compact...i decided aginst it...also bad move!..
Now!!! Ohh pin trading...why do u hate me so...

I regret a lot of trades/sales at reduced prices (and a few at cost):

Dumbo BTs x 3
Robin Hood BT
Mary Poppins BT
Snow White BT
Mulan BT
Pinocchio BTs x 2
Lion King BT
Finding Nemo BT
Herbie BT
Sleeping Beauty BT x 2
Pocahontas BT
Hunchback of Notre Dame BT
Hercules BT x 2
Peter Pan BT x 2
Aladdin BT

At the time, I was thinking about collecting BTs and then decided not too because there were too many to get that I had missed.

I also regret not getting 7x that Tangled Flynn chair (at retail) and the Tangled marquee (at retail). I was already collecting Belle & Mulan with sis and it was like, another princess?! I was at El Capitan to watch Tangled with sis, our friend and her boyfriend, ate at DSF and decided not to get the pins (friend's boyfriend got the Tangled Flynn chair pin for kinky reasons, which kind of turned me off the pin in the first place).

I had Ariel's Undersea Adventure - Eric and Ariel kiss the girl scene and I traded it away for something stupid. I wish I still had it today to trade for something else. Luckily I have it again, but I don't want to trade it. I just wish I had an extra one.

No regrets here, I have helped many people in my time and many people have helped me pin karma is nothing to feel bad about sending out in this community it eventually comes back to you <3

Nothing, really. If I have some kind of intense emotional attachment to a pin, I don't trade it. And trade values fluctuate all the time, if it was a fair trade at the time there is no point in agonizing over it. Plus, I've made about a billion trades that were lop-sided in the other person's favor because I knew they really wanted the pin. Like Laz said, it really does come back to you:hug:

I stupidly traded this pin
from my collection for some other pins in my collection, but I still can't get it back. That makes me sad.

I lost this pin
a while back and haven't found it. Send out trade requests for it every day with no responses

I am hoping that pin karma comes to me soon. I have sold a few pins at cost, or at cost plus a dollar or two, that were worth much more and I can't get those pins back. I sold a marquee to somebody for $30 that they turned around and sold on eBay for $400. They told me it was for their collection.

This has happened to me too. But I am sure pin karma will come back to me Just keep your hopes up!

This is horrible. I seriously hate that this happened to you.
I sent out some trade requests for that 2nd pin for you
Thank you very much

I would like to think that they needed the money and were forced to sell it, but I don't think that was the case since the turn around was only to days after they received it.

I hate that because you hear people say now, I have been burned too many times. Not that is what your saying. I just mean in general. I hope you find the pins you need.

As far as trading something away. Not yet really. The only thing I have regretted is paying too much to get traders to be able to trade competitvely.

Almost all the Reveal/Conceal girls. I bought a whole bunch of them when they came out and then instantly traded them for pins I really wanted at the time. *facepalm*

It's true about pin karma though. There are some great people in the pin trading community

I totally, wholeheartedly agree with this Mary. Pin trading is almost like the stock market these days, you win some and you lose some. As long as you got a fair deal at the time it was made, all is good. Otherwise I'd be kicking myself for not buying a slew of homes back in the 1970s-80s (I wasn't alive back then mind you )

Another reason for the regret is that now I've decided to collect Beloved Tales (of course, when they are so pricey!)

On my our honeymoon trip I received a newbies-only Tinkerbell pin from a cast member for asking her questions (and basically not knowing anything about pin trading). It was a special pin for first-time traders. Me, being a man who thought he had to act like a man while on his honeymoon, traded the the amazing pin away for something less-un-manly. Now, with an almost-three-year-old girl at home and another on the way, I really wish I had held on to that pin.
