Please Help!

Hello everyone! I have Pin 5385. It has a 2/57 trading ratio. I keep getting trade requests for much more common pins. I think I may have my hopes a little too high for this pin. So please, what do you think would be a fair trade for this pin. LE? OE? Thanks so much for the help!

I wonder the same thing all the time! I would say an older hard to find OE or higher edition le perhaps. Maybe a Lady and the Tramp collector will be able to say just how hard this pin is to come by?

i am that L&T collector. i also collect pre-200 pins with the old epoxy coating which i love. With all that being said i would trade another OE nicely trading pin or a higher LE of 5000 or more... alot of people dont like the older pins so you may wait a while. Hey its up to you, of course its SOMEBODYS must have--ya just have to find that person.

A final thought--something i noticed has happened to me (gosh i sound like a hippie)...the more picky i become and the more i quest to just get whats on my list and not FIND something to trade for in someones traders to help them out---the worse time i have. I have just had a sad, depressing, disheartening month pin trading. I thought i was done. So i stopped buying and trading and just kinda played with pins, cleaned out collections and started lokking at MY attitude and pickiness and decided to regroup and go back to my previous attitude of "ill find something" if somebody wants a pin of mine. Not saying your doing this but it really made trading stressful and unfun.

This is a great thread because i'm clueless on trading. I'll be watching to see how the ratio dynamics play out.

for newbies...i say poo on people. There is always a thread with some sensitive cry baby about uneven offers yada yada yada. Its hard when you are new to know whats fair and i know for a fact i have made aweful offers and have gotten taken for a ride many a time--all evens out in the end. When i trade in person, i introduce myself and tell people HOW i trade and tell folks i am happy to try hard to make it work. Very rarely walk away form any trade offer. I can always trade for a trader. This Lady pin is so lovely, it is listed as trading well but it is a specific niche. I hope they get something good, and all parties are happy.
