is a new member that I have been purchasing pins from. He always sends my pins promptly. Every pin I have received is brand new on the card and are not scrappers. Today it took me ten minutes to open the pin it was wrapped so good.
I am very sad to learn that some members have been downright critical of him because he charges a bit more. Or tries to buy pins and then charges a bit more. No one seems to say nor are we allowed per DPF rules to taunt members that charge more for pins in the sales thread. I won't mention names as that is not right. If you check pins for sale, we have members that have been here awhile selling DSF pins for triple the retail price, piece of movie pins that were purchased at cost for $$$ and so on . I, myself, just sold 2 Designer pins for $700.00, so please I am not pointing fingers. We all have done it, but yet no one says a word to us. Why?!?! Because we have been here longer?
Let me give you an example, when I listed my desaigner pins, I had first asked $850.00 for both. I closed my thread after a disagreement with another member. That morning I woke to a PM from webberalumni, asking to buy my pins for $750.00. I agreed! In the meantime I received a PM from another member that I consider a dear friend. Someone that truly watches out for us. They asked if I sold my pins to this member. I replied that I had, but he hadn't paid. I was then told to check an ebay sellers ID . What did I see ... Rapunzel Designer Princess Pin BIN $999.00 and Mother Gothel Villain Designer pin $299.00 BIN . Needless to say, I saw red and sent him a message. It got pretty heated and he was pretty surprised that I had found out. He ended his auctions as I told him, I was NOT selling him my pins.
I don't care what someone does with the pins after purchase, but pay first. Am I right?
Anyway, why did I tell you this. Because this is not preventscrappers. He does not buy pins and mark them up to sell on ebay. He does have a business and makes a few dollars on his pins. I have heard he has been told his pins are scrappers, not true, I have authentic, new on card Disney pins. I just really feel bad that he is new and that he has been taunted for the same thing other members do when they sell pins. He has not been on the forum for a couple of days now and may not return for this reason .
In my honest opinion, I think we need to cut the newbies that sell pins just a little bit of slack .
Thank You for reading this
Magical Wishes to all of you.
