This is going to sound silly, but I reaaaally love opening my own blind boxes ... Do you think you could send them sealed?? It's like... A weird ritual of mine.

I'd definitely be down to get 5-10 unopened boxes and help trade as well! I really want this set. I have a friend going in March, but the week after they're released and idk if they will sell out by them. I've never purchased mystery boxes before. How many pins come in each box? What are the chase odds usually?

Li, you're already doing me such a huge favor - whatever is easiest for you, doll. If you want to open them to build sets, that's okay. Haha, I'm just being ridiculous. It would probably be more beneficial to eveyone if they were all just opened, wouldn't it? I'm just so scared I won't get Rapunzel. >_<

Ultimately it doesn't matter (to me). I'll just refrain from opening my boxes til I put boxes aside for you and the rest! I am opening one person's boxes (and mine) and taking them with me to PTN (the next day) so I thought I'd make that offer to everyone else!

I'm not sure when the release is for these but I might be able to help you guys out. If i am able to go to the park the day of this release I can pick up some boxes for you as well. Just let me know how many you will need

Sorry...I can be really dumb sometimes lol, but I'm still a little confused...are these for "unopened" boxes? I see a few people mention they are unopened and others say they will be opened. I kinda like the excitement of opening up my boxes myself. Of course, I don't need to have multiples of the same pin though so anything extra will be offered to lost-sun-princess first and than anyone else in this thread after she has her picks. I know for sure I will definitely be wanting 10 boxes. Just let me know when I need to send payment. I believe I gave you my e-mail associated with my PP account as well so feel free to just invoice me when ready.

Originally, lost-sun-pricess said she wanted a whole set. I told her I couldn't guarantee a whole set would show up in 5 boxes (10 pins total; 9 pins in a set). And she mentioned trading (I am buying 5 boxes for me too). Then others jumped in with their requests for boxes and it seemed like we were all going to trade amongst ourselves: I open everyone's boxes and, if possible, make complete sets for everyone, assuming the collation is good [or take extras to PTN the next night and trade them]. But now, it looks like people want theirs unopened.

So, therein lies the confusion. It will be cleared up soon via PM There is one person who is okay with me opening them and taking any extras to PTN to trade
 

Hi friend! Sorry for the confusion. Because each set is blind boxed, as Li said, it's impossible to guarantee that you'd get a whole set just by buying 5 boxes. So Li offered to open up each individual box to see what was inside and try to build full sets for people so that we all got one of each, which is pretty awesome.

However, I've collected blind box toys, etc. for years now, and there's just something I love about cracking open a box and seeing what you get... so I think I'm going to take my chances and just have her ship them to me still sealed. Others would prefer to have them open and trade immediately... if I get any doubles, I'm building a second set of this collection for a surprise for my mommy, and any extras after that will be used as zaps or trades for people, I suspect.

If you get any duplicates, I'd love to trade!! It's very kind of you to think of me, that really means a lot! <3 I hope that clears things up!!
 
That's essentially what I wanted to do. I collect baseball cards and the fun is in opening the packs lol. This is the only similar thing that equates to that in Disney for me lol. That's why I was asking for 10 because I know your not guaranteed a set in 5 boxes so I wanted to increase my odds. Than with the rest I was going to either trade or zap other with. I found another user who's only picking up 5 for them self so their going to get me 10. Thanks for clarifying though and hopefully nothing goes wrong for me lol. So are you guys all maxed out now with the number of boxes you can get?
 

Hey there -- I believe Li is all maxed out. I live in NH, so alas, as much as I wish I could provide help with pickups, I wil not be able to do this. Hence this thread, LOL. However, check with Kristine (kmorrison) and see if she's able to help you out!!

Oh I was able to find someone who's getting them for me. They said for sure so I'm relieved. I just wanted to get an idea of where you guys are at. So definitely keep me in mind for trades when they come out because I should most definitely have some extras.
