Okay, Beauty & the Beast is out of my friend's price range, as are most of the princess ones.

However, I may have an opportunity to get Robin Hood (7 trading, 103 wanting), Bambi (5 people trading, 75 people wanting), and Pinocchio (3 trading, 67 wanting) and am wondering what the average price it sells for.

Also, what is it worth (in terms of trading)? Is it possible to get a Designer Princess pin for it (not Rapunzel, obviously)? I like Belle & Mulan. Or possibly a golden brocade pin for it?

I'd have thought you'd be able to get a golden brocade or designer princess pin for any of those BTs (not Rapunzel though). I've found it incredibly difficult trading for the earlier ones and have had to pay through the nose for them. They are commanding quite a price!

I know someone who will want the Robin Hood, by the way. (And obviously I'm after the Bambi and Pinocchio, as you're aware!)

Prices are all over the place, it depends on which BT it is. I've paid between $50 and $85 for the earlier pins ($85 being B&tB, obviously).

Were you the one who BIN on the bay? I saw it listed for $100 and then lowered to $85 and sold.
 
I couldn't possibly comment! ;) lol Yeah, I bought at $85, then the other one was listed at $95 but I got it cheaper by going off ebay (to trade for the Little Mermaid BT). So yeah, there was no way I was leaving my number 1 HG, even if I did have to pay $85!

I bid on the Little Mermaid too. I bid $127 and was outbid. Grr! :( I wonder who won- anyone on DPF?

I'm about to give up on this series. It's very disheartening to repeatedly lose these on eBay. But then I'll randomly get lucky... so I won't give up just yet.

As far as the original question... of the three in question, I have only seen one on eBay recently, which was Pinocchio. I believe it was a buy it now for $85. I actually got lucky and traded a Dumbo POMH (Dumbo scene) for it. I imagine the other two would be in a similar price range.
 
well someone got lucky for the beauty and the beast BT pin since it only went for $69 which is kinda cheap. I did have a face like O_O at the price of the little mermaid one though as didnt think it would go that high lol
 
I saw that (BatB & TLM). And was like, WOW, my max would have been $50 for each of them ;) I figured those earlier BT would be worth quite a bit (not on par with what TLM got, but somewhere in the range of what the BatB went for).

The last 101 Dalmatians pin went for $55-60 on the bay too...okay, thanks for all your help!
 
Holy Cow! After reading this thread I rushed to my trader binder and what did I find but a Little Mermaid BT pin (mint on original backer card). I bought it with the Beauty and the Beast BT pin (which I traded a year ago) at DSF because my sister said, "hey, I think those are cute and would be good traders..."

PM me and maybe we can make a deal!

Brandi is also the proud new owner (soon) of Robin Hood & Pinocchio Beloved Tales pins....and Tanya will be the proud new owner (soon) of Bambi & Pinocchio. Hopefully I didn't sell too low ;)

when you say tanya, do you mean anastasia (aka tanya) who is getting the bambi and pinocchio lol or different tanya haha just curious :P

I mean anastasia (aka tanya). So, all she needs is Lion King and she is DONE with Beloved Tales...yay! I had considered getting a set of all for myself but there's just too many *lol* (plus, sis and I have the ones we want, which are Beauty & the Beast and Mulan).
