Hi! ^.^ I have a question I have been wondering about Pin Books.

About the pages- is there only one page of pins per each 2 pages? Like, per each time you flip? (Say, you open a book to a random page. You know how there are words on both pages? Well, on the Pin Books, are there pins on both pages or just one? Do you use the back of the one before? I didn't think so because wouldn't the pins then get scratched?)

If anyone could answer this for me, that would be great

I have a pin book and with mine (it's from Disney World) you can use both sides of the page as there is a protective layer in between the pages where you'd think pins would rub against each other. I can say the same for my friends' pin books (one from Disneyland and the other from WDI) that this is the case for many Disney pin books.

Could you take a picture of it on the inside with the layer in between the pages please?

the average pin book has 5 pages, both sides useable so ten total useable areas. They have a devider sheet between each page that is thin, some folks end up using it for pins too, but it is there to prevent pins bumping and scratching eachother. I put corrugated plastic inside my pages so that i don't have to wrestle with pin backs everytime someone wants to see the back of one of my pins.

Here's mine that I emptied out.

And here's the inside with the left side showing the back of the first page and the right side the front page of the second page with a protective sheet in between the pages.

I hope this helps. My friends' books are somewhat like this but the WDI ones are spacier and the DLR ones are not as padded.

Thanks everyone

One more question: How do you put pins on the back of a page that already has pins on the front page, when there are pin backs in the way?

Look at the left page of the second picture. You would stick the pin post through that shorter portion of the page and then apply the pin back, but as you can see there's another layer underneath it, which is eventually what separates the pin backs of the front page and the back page. You can't go wrong with a pin trading book. The manufacturers knew what they were doing to avoid all mishaps. Haha

another way to go if your on a budget..i got a "traper keeper" big zipper up binder at staples $19.99 and bought baseball card holder pages. i have about 200 pins in here and there are mesh pockets on the inside walls for other crap and a seperate zipper area with accordian files, that i keep magnifying glass, pens, my traders list from pinpics that i can cross off as i trade a pin. extra backs and my wants list...just a thought.
the actual pin books are great and the backs all "meet eachother" in a pocket in the middle (thats what i have encountered)
