Question about some pins.
You might want to look up MyDPins for a place to get inexpensive traders. Josh (MyDPins) is also a member here and has a store close to Disneyland. I have been told he has great prices on real traders. Don't forget to check the sales boards here. There are several members who sell real pins in lots here as well.
Thank you very much for this info. I will be looking this up now. :)

Just returned from WDW and 99.999% of pins on lanyards are scrappers or fakes. Beware of those selling large lots of pins for low prices. You get what you pay for!!
From what I understand these pins come from China.
It is truly sad that you can't really enjoy the whole point of the pins. They are there to collect and trade. In my mind you are suppose to make memories doing this. There is nothing like a bad memory when you trade with a cast member for that one pins you have been looking for to complete a set for your collection.

I am always looking for authentic lots, I buy them for the children's hospital so I know the stuggle when it comes to wanting to buy in bulk. For the most part lots of "tradeable" or "no duplicate" lots are 100% scrappers. Sellers know what they are selling so being apologized to is an attempt to avoid negative feedback. Those sellers knowingly buy THOUSANDS of scrappers from China and then sell them for a pretty hefty profit online. Unfortunately even sellers with 100% positive feedback are selling crap. I have had more Han one experience where I left negative feedback and the seller was able to have them remove it because they could prove that Disney will accept pins with the proper markings even if they are scrappers!!

I have found a few sellers on eBay that have sold authentic pins and each time they are identified as "authentic" in the listing, not just tradeable. They also aren't repeat of constant sellers of lots. For the most part I stick with buying new booster packs or buying from members here. There are some great deals here as several members are employees with big discounts and access to the cast stores.

Good luck and welcome to the addiction...I mean hobby lol.

I just paid return shipping on an item I just returned. I printed the ebay label,
it said that my paypal would be charged $3 if I used it.

Were you failing a PayPal chargeback claim or did the seller agree to a refund? My seller had agreed to the refund process, maybe that's when they have to pay the shipping.

Might also be based on why the return is happening. I filed a claim saying the item was counterfeit, thus I shouldn't be responsible for any out of pocket costs...

Not sure, I've never even seen ebay provide pre-printed labels for returns before, so it was all new to me. But I've seen sellers complaining a lot about being forced to cover return shipping costs, so it definitely happens in some situations...

In this situation, it was my error. I ordered print cartridges for our printer. Who knew there were two
cartridges called the same thing, one big and one small. They did refund, but I had to pay return shipping.

I guess you should contact the seller and send the stuff back to him, if he troubles then you can report. I personally don't consider eBay an appropriate source of buying few things because of the increasing amount of fake sellers there. They usually get people into scams which is terrible.
