Questions about pins being released on 11/1 and 11/2

2. The WDW PTN is on 11/2 and I'd like to check it out prior to attending the Halloween party. It starts at 4pm, but do I need to get there earlier than that to get in line for the Duffy pin or if I show up around 4pm, should I be okay?

I double checked and the PTN on 11/2 starts at 4pm. Here's the blurb I saw about it.
So if it starts at 4pm, should I be in line by 2pm? hrmmm, that eats up a lot of my day,
I may have to bypass it this time around.
