The pins look IDENTICAL on front and back. No color changes, problems with gold outlines, etc. The differences are that the word Ratatouille in white is missing from one and also the eyes have a black dot in them in the correct one. These pins are from Disneyland Resort Paris and I'm not sure if this was ever worth faking to anyone.

Here are the pictures. What do you think?

What you have is a pin that was supposed to be silk screened but was not. Silk screening is the final process to some pins that add just a few finite details. This silk screening can either miss the printer entirely, or even (gasp!) can be rubbed off. So pretty much, it COULD be a real pin that has had the silk screen rubbed off, or it COULD be the literal definition of "scrapper" and that it was meant to be a factory second, but somehow made it any way, or it COULD have made it past quality control any way and sold at a Disney park, or it COULD actually be a counterfeit made somewhere else. My guess is that it is either a factory second sold illegally OR was mistakenly sold in the parks accidentally.

Honestly think it's real. I know a lady who collects pins like this and it just sounds like the silk screen error. I absolutly love that one too! I think the one with pupils is creepy!
