Reputable Ebay sellers?

I'm hoping this is not an infraction of forum rules but is it permissible to be PM'd names of reputable Ebay sellers? I haven't bought my first pin and I'm already very fearful of inadvertantly introducing counterfeit or scrapper pins into circulation through sheer ignorance. My little guys and I have looked over the "For Sale" threads and found a few but looked at Ebay first before finding the DPF and found a few cool pins. Is it even possible to buy a "real" pin through Ebay? Should I stick to carded pins only? I understand there are honest dealers there but even the most scrupulous seller can make an honest mistake on occasion. Basically, I'm hoping that if you've had a few happy transactions with a specific Ebay dealer you'll pass along their ID. Deepest apologies if this is a faux pas! Pleading newbie status on that! :dunno:

Don't worry - I don't think this thread is breaking any rules. :) You're just not supposed to post any seller's names or auction links on public threads. I'm PMing you a (very short) list of eBay sellers I've had luck with...

Hey again. Did you all (alicec86, mmiano, ownedbycats) want my list, as well? This isn't my thread, so I didnt see your comments until now.

The list I sent sighkedelik was only like 4 or 5 people, but if you want their eBay names, send me a PM (private message) and I'll help you out.

Meanwhile (and this is for everyone!), I just found this super helpful link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2213419.

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I would love it if somebody could PM me a short list of good sellers too. I've only ever purchased pins in the parks and I would love a starting point for online purchases. Thanks!

I went and looked at my 'feedback as a buyer' on eBay, which is basically all from pins and I learned 2 things: 1. I spend WAY too much money on pins, and have for a few years now. and 2. There are a LOT of good sellers on eBay. I sent a list of some that I've purchased from more than once. If you have any questions about a particular seller/item, feel free to send me, or anyone else a PM, to take a look and let you know if it's good!

I don't have any insight about your original question but I do have a bunch of pins that I am trying to get rid. I have collected over the years because my dad is a CM at WDW so I have about 200+ pins. Let me know if you might be interested in looking at what I have. thanks.
