I was just wondering do the resorts sell resort specific pins outside of the Christmas holidays?

I thought it would be nice to get a pin from each resort we stay at (we're staying in BWI and WL this summer).

I do not think they do that many any more, except during the holidays; unless it is a series sort of thing like the door hangers, keychains, the most recent I believe was the camera/snapshot.

Willie,

Almost all the major resorts<monorail line, AK, Epcot lake esp, and Carribean, as well as almost all DVC resorts usually carry some sort of resort specific pin, if you ref the resorts on pinpic you can most likely see which ones have which pins. Bill and the others are correct that usually at the holidays they run seires for all the resorts, but that does not mean that there are not resort specific pins for certain establishments, mayhap not all of the resorts have it ,but some to most will,
yes main gift shop is the ideal spot to check , if they dont have it they will know where the pin cart or area for that resort is<2nd floor pin shop at the Polynesian is an example>

Good luck, try either calling ahead to the resorts, and asking for the gift shop and checking during one of our standard rainy aftenoon at the resort of your staying.<it is spring here in the suptropics so its rainy time> this will save you some time and energy<as well as gas> when you head out shopping as well.

happy hunting

I like to find and collect favorite pins from the various resorts we've stayed at, and sometimes others, and I actually don't have any holiday pins in my collection. Though most are from previous years so I can't really speak on how many non-holiday pins are being released currently. Just from looking at the resort gift shops over the weekend though (I just got back last night), I did see a few resort pins currently being sold so they are out there. Good luck on your collection! I think grabbing a pin or two, or even a whole slew, of pins from the resorts, especially those where you've stayed and have some Disney memories, is a great collection that you'll want to keep and look at for years to come :)

Thanks for all the replies guys!

@HiddenMickeys: As you say if you have pins from where you've stayed it has that memory attached to it which gives it that bit of extra sentimental value, which is why I thought it would be a good idea to go for those.

The resorts have a standard pin, but sometimes that pin could be several years old. They release a few new ones each year to update them, but it's not all resorts at one time. You can find them at the resorts, and at Pin Central at Downtown Disney. Some of the more recent ones are:

Thanks for this! I can see two for the resorts I'll be staying at, so I'll keep an eye out for them. I think I spotted them on Pinpics earlier, but I wasn't sure whether they were still available.

I've done that very thing.

Yes they are generally pretty easy to find, and as someone else said if you can't find it at your resort then usually it can be found at Downtown Disney. I actually found a pin for Coronado Springs at MK of all places. But I also collect pins from each resort we stay at and it's nice to have a meaningful souvenir to look at years later. :)
