The log in never worked for me, I was guessing they're getting confused that I was registered at DS.com first. I always order as a guest too.
 
Disney disappoints again!

Well, I thought I had ordered successfully this weekend, I ordered at 4.45pm, all seemed well, the sold out message did not appear on the site until much later in the evening. I assumed that there had not been as much interest in the Monsters Inc pin, but then today I get the dreaded email, that Disney cannot fulfil my order. I am utterly disgusted! I must have been one of the first people to order!

What irks even more is that my son surprised me at the weekend with a call saying he was in a Disney branch and could he get me any pins! I said no!

Omg, thats terrible! Have you seen the people selling them on Ebay - someone wants £40 or so!
 
That happened to me today too. I'm livid, absolutely livid. My traders list may well be increasing by a rather large amount soon, as I'm almost at the point where I'm going to give up on my UK collection. it's unacceptable that a company as large as disney is unable to sort out it's system to enable accurate real time stock.

Don't tell me I was the only one lucky this time? At least I got a shipment confirmation about an hour ago. What will be in the package is a completely different thing.
 
i also ordered early at 4.51 and paid,but got the dreaded email this afternoon.
im with tanya,ive bought every pin so far,but i am so annoyed with them.i really think i am only going to buy ones i like rather than being a uk completest from now on
 
What a mess!!
It looks like the people who ordered first are having their orders cancelled which is completely unfair. It should be first come first served. I am so glad I didn't order the Monsters Inc pin although I did order the Rescuer set which I have just had shipping confirm. for.
 
The time on my e-mail say 17:01, but I thought I ordered earlier than that. And for the person that asked, I did indeed order the Rescuers set. Got shipping confirmation for that a little while ago. It's just stupid, it really is. But having seen how many they had in the Liverpool store (and having been told how many one of the London stores had) I suspect they've made a mistake and sent too many out to stores.

If they mess up the Cars set in any way, then I'm out of UK pins. I've had enough. It's too much money to spend every month to feel like I'm just wasting my time. It certainly takes the shine out of getting these pins. It's become more of a chore than something to look forward to.

At least my vinyls have shipped.
 
Somethings really not right here. I got a confirmation email for the Monsters Inc pin, and my order was placed at 5.36! Oo

I agree, My son was in the Lakeside branch at the weekend, he says they had racks of the Monster's Inc pin!

Anyhow, after receiving my cancellation email, I sent an email of complaint, this is how Disney responded today, not very comforting really:

"I would firstly like to take the time to apologise for the disappointment that this has caused for you, as we can certainly appreciate just how frustrating that issues occurring such as this can be.

Unfortunately, due to such a high demand for the pins when they become available on the website, it can sometimes result in overselling. This is due to a large quantity of orders being placed at almost exactly the same time. This, unfortunately, can result in our systems taking a brief amount of time to process orders.

We have recently conducted some investigations as to why this may have occurred and measures are currently being put in place, in a plan to reduce the chances of this happening for any future orders.

We very much appreciate the time that you have taken to send your comments through to us, and whilst there is little that we can do to alleviate the disappointment that has been caused we would like to express further honest and sincere apologies."
 
lol So how do they explain someone who ordered at 5.30pm on Friday having had a despatch email? I'm going to e-mail to complain too, as I don't think they've processed the orders in the order that they were received.
 
i got the same email too, after complaining.
i am so mad,i am giving up on being a uk completest.its to much hassle trying to keep up when they keep messing us about
 
As I said above, I have a shipping notice which includes both the Monsters Inc. pin and the Rescuers set. Tracking says the package should be arriving tomorrow.

Thats good - sorry I did read your comment but forgot about it earlier on - too much on my mind. Maybe they only like the buyers who bought the Rescuers Set as that costed a fortune.
