Rookie question: When and Where to buy PTN pin???

I want to buy the Nov. 2 PTN pin at WDW - does it go on sale that morning in various locations, or do they start selling it at the PTN at 4 p.m.?

PTN pins are only sold at the actual PTN. I think anyhow... haven't actually been to a PTN before.

At DLR, the PTN pins were only sold at the Pin Trader's Store in DTD. So, maybe at the store in DTD at WDW too?

I have found leftover event pins usually at the trading location at Epcot behind Spaceship Earth. When we went in 2010, we found quite a few Trade City pins that had not sold at the event.

I'm going to the PTN, so I'm wondering if I can be certain of getting a pin there when the PTN starts, or if I should be hitting the stores first thing in the morning.

At WDW, they sell them in the Pin Trading room, when the event starts. It's been awhile, but I think the leftovers end up at the shop on the 4th floor. But I don't think there are usually leftovers. When I sent my parents to an event this summer, the advice was basically get in line, follow the line. 🙂

I haven't been to PTN in years (since 2007) but they used to have a queue in the event, knowing Disney not much has changed...lol.
