Scoop Sanderson Trading???

I recently went to WDW, and I was looking for Scoop Sanderson, but every time we went to MK he wasn't there. I thought that he was still there trading pins, but I guess not. If anyone could provide me with more details it would be greatly appreciated. Is there a certain time he is there, or is he really gone?
 
Slight hijack (hope that's ok).

I've read some vague things about him but I'm taking my first trip to WDW next week in over a decade. Can someone explain a little better about what exactly he is/does? And I guess it looks like he might not be there anymore anyway
 
He is a cast member on Mainstreet USA that trades with guests. Last I heard he has a mega-lanyard that is pretty much like 8 lanyards velcroed together and covered with pins.
 
I would think Scoop is still at Main Street; but I've heard he's pretty rare to come across... unsure though.
 
When you enter MK, go to the Town Hall and ask the CMs to look him up. With some luck, you might be able to get his weekly schedule, but it changes all the time. He is mostly around in the mornings and vanishes around noon.

He also sings with the quartet on the main street. In the past, my best luck has been shortly after he finishes his performance, but I have not been to WDW for well over a year now **withdrawal ... LOL **

Yes, I happily bumped into Scoop (not literally on Main Street back in Oct. He opens his vest to reveal a wide long lanyard LOADED w pins to trade.
 
I tried to find him yesterday as he works on Wednesdays,and he was under the weather...I wish I could see him before we leave
 
The Main Street characters aren't singing anymore, but you can still find Scoop before noon on Main St. Last week he told me his schedule is Monday, Wed, and Sunday, but like all things Disney, that could change anytime.

Wow Judy, I was there yesterday, I wish I had known you were too, I would have loved to meet you.

The vest in Merryweather's link appears to have a lot of buttons. How long did it take him to get his vest open? Or was it a different vest?
 
I haven't seen him since January but yes, I think Mondays are the best days to catch him. He is a super nice guy that is on Main Street. He always has a great lanyard usually with some AP pins but when I met him the first time, he also had a bag that had some pretty amazing pins in it (where he pulled a huge AP pin set out for me and autographed it). Judy-I hate that you missed him!

Oooooohhhhhhh, I am soooo jealous! I wish I saw him when I went down, but I guess I was too focused on getting those Sorcerer of the Magic Kingdom cards, which my family and I have developed quite an obsession for...
