I'd like to try making my own sig picture. What (free) programs/apps does anyone recommend to do so? One of the programs I tried made the pic horribly pixelated when I shrunk it down. And do you use pictures from Pinpics, usually? Any other advice is appreciated. 🙂

I use GIMP , it's a free image program . And basic paint a bit .
It takes a while to learn but once you get the hang of it it's easy enough .
As for pictures I use either PinPics / Pin Trading Database images or occasionally eBay ones if I need to .
To make rotating gif images I use a website , I forget the exact name but I can look it up if you want .
