they are once a month til Dec then they are finished no more will be produced.
check the Official Disney Pin trading site for what is up and coming
eventservices.disney.go.com.pintrading/index
hope this helps

Right Now, you have to look at the What's Happening blog to see the upcoming pin release dates. on the page mentioned above, there is a red box that will lead you to the What's HapPINing Blog. then select October for the pins that are coming up

I see that November is Beauty and the Beast....I know that you need to go the day that they are released...but it's a 3 hour trip for me....would I need to get in line like.....HOURS and HOURS and HOURS before they are released?? And where are they released?? Downtown Disney?? And since it is 2 per person...does my not quite 2 year old daughter "count" as a person? Or is it 2 per ADULT??

There is a rumor that the WDW BatB PODM pin may be a wristband release - if true, each person who gets a wristband will be entitled to purchase two pins. There hasn't been an age limitation listed for previous wristband releases. Keep your eyes out for the release information on odpt.com / What's HapPINing / WDW November 2012 which should be available in about 3 weeks (which will indicate if it is a wristband release, and if so, details and the locations that will have the pins).

Where did you hear that rumor? We haven't had a wristband release for pins since Everest opened

If it is't a wristband release then how does it work otherwise? A free for all??

Basically, but it's 2 per person limit (I think you have to be old enough to buy a ticket to buy a pin, but who knows?). But people get around the 2 per person limit by going to multiple locations. Maybe you can find someone to carpool with to split the gas costs?

My son was one and a half when I started trading and I bought pins for him all the time. He has quite a collection actually. Both my sons do. There should be no reason that they disallow you from purchasing 4 pins if there are two of you.
Good luck

They let PsychoPixie's older daughter get one but I dont think the baby counted. Maybe she can answer. The releases in FL I hear are getting worse like DLR. yourwdwstore.com sends close to 20 people on the "circuit" to get as many pins as they can to sell for profit. If the do do wristbands those people may be the reason and will also be the most upset. I'm just hoping for my wife and I to get our 4. Keep our favorite and try to get Snow White and Cinderella with the extras of the others we will have.

BATB is being released 11/22 I asked someone about wristbands who works at pintraders ( a manager) and she said she has not heard any thing about that

Where are these PODM pins released at WDW? Downtown Disney or...Frontierland Pin Trading area, or other places? I'll be at Magic Kingdom later that day (10/25), but didn't know where I should check first.

WDW: All 4 parks sell them, as well as Downtown Disney and Contemporary (Hotel), their store also sells them. If you want to be one of the first to pick scenes, you need to be at DTD by 6 a.m. (they don't open til 9:30 a.m.). Parks, since it's Thanksgiving, Magic Kingdom should open at 8 a.m. Epcot at 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. AK and HS typically open later (9 a.m. or 10 a.m.) on "regular" days so I am not sure re: holidays. Check the website for operating hours.

For MK, if there is Extra Magic Hours, that is only for Fantasyland and Tomorrowland (like it is here at DL). So, you'd still be waiting outside the entrance at Liberty Square or Adventureland to get through to Frontierland.

Good luck

Thanks for the info! I have to go to the office during the day, but I guess I'll see what ghosts (if any) are left that afternoon/evening. Probably can't make the Thanksgiving one, although that Beauty and the Beast pin looks awesome!
