I know how this feels! The first time I ever bought a grail (the last time I may add!) The lady was selling this:

Pin 28642 (Featured Artist Scar) For 40$. I didn't know ANYTHING about pins then...and she messaged me and said if I bought her small Lion King pin lot for 8$ she'd throw in something else really nice...

What I got was super awesome! The DSF Cats Scar and Simba pin! (Pin 83850)

So glad you got a great deal!

Pin 46474: Disney Auctions - Tinker Bell International (Japan)

Last time it went up, it clocked in at somewhere over $300, so it was a very good deal. But even better than that was just the fact that it finally showed up again, and I was able to snag it! It was the last one I needed for that set, too.

I just saw it while checking for completed DA pins and I guessed. I would flip for it

I have 2 of them already. I have Mexico and I actually have 2 Hollands (don't ask me why, just pin craze)

I need the other 4, but in due time hopefully

That said, if I were to find them like you did, I would probably buy all 4. Pin greed :lol:

I know what you mean...I was tempted to buy all of them just to have a full set (minus the Japan) to trade, but my husband gave me the hairy eyeball...

I do that, too, though...when I fall in love with a pin, and it was hard to get, I tend to buy it every time I see it, and use them as traders. I did it was Patriotic Tink, with St. Paddy coin Tink, the Day of Beauty pins, and these. I guess it's just a combination of figuring they'll be good traders (which they are) and residual feelings of anxiety from when I couldn't find my first one...

I swear, us pin folk...we could make some therapists very rich, if only we didn't spend all our money on pins.
 
Also, thanks, everyone, for the congrats, and for sharing your eBay stories! It's not the first time I've snagged a Grail off the Bay, but this one was a great treat! Especially when you go, like, a year without seeing any of your Grails show up...

Trade ?? What trade ?? You mean you have Italy & Morocco to trade ?? I will give you my Belle R/C and a kidney!

Last summer someone offered me Morocco for $200 but I did not have the $$ then. I know that hairy eyeball well.

Awesome description! EXACTLY how I felt for 2 pins, the jumbo 101 Dalmatians watching thunderbolt (its NEVER on the bay but was recently and told Disxar to get it ^_^) and a peter pan jumbo this summer. Hope you get more soon but hope our high blood pressure or something doesn't go crazy because of this lol.
 
Awesome find and I am super jealous!

I am still missing Japan, Morocco, and Italy and of course those have all sold...I would have snatched any of those up in a heartbeat!
 
CONGRATS...especially since we were bidding against one another the last time...lol! Wish I had known about the others since we still need the Italy and Morocco...but,alas they are already gone...:cry:
