So. I thought today would be an excellent day to dig my pinbags out of the closet and do some serious organization. I pulled hubbys desk chair up to mine so I could work next to my desk, which is currently covered with stuff. I stacked the three bags on the chair...

And my cuddly new Nebelung kitten Martin decided it was an excellent place for an afternoon nap. :( He's so cute and fuzzy and I don't want to make him move! I'll have to play with pins later.

That is so cute! Looks like something my cat would do; hope he doesn't get any ideas. He likes to take the warm spot as soon as one of us gets up from a chair

your cat is beautiful, and mine do the same thing, I think that they are addicted to pins also, my youngest cat wants to play with any pin I am putting in the bag, the mickey backs she bats those all over the house. sometimes I will wait until she is really sleeping good and bring out the pin bags but I swear I think she knows exactly what the zipper sounds like on those pin bags, wakes her up all the time.

You could use your cat to dust your pins!

I use my mini doxie, Tinkerbell, as an excuse to get out of house cleaning, or cooking, or whatever chores, when she's sleeping in my lap. I mean, c'mon, I can't disturb her, she's sleeping!

Sooooo cute! And oh can I relate! Not only do they sit right where I'm planning to organize and work on pins, they refuse to leave until they are ready to, lol! They even get up on the computer desk and stand right in front of the monitor, which makes it very difficult to surf PinPics and DPF, lol! And speaking of playing with pins and pin backs, somewhere in my house my kitties have a "stash" of pins! It's the only answer I can come up with for a couple of my pins that have been MIA for a very long time now ... along with water bottle tops (before I switched to the Nalgene type), pin backs and writing pens, etc. However, they are all adorable and so innocent looking that there must be some other explanation, lol! And yes, I too use them as my excuse for not moving the laundry around as quick as I should or for the delay in accomplishing any other house cleaning chore because one or two of them insist on sitting on my lap and then falls asleep ... ahhh so sweet ... I just can't disturb them!! Have a great weekend everyone! *bjr

No, no, you have it alllll wrong. He's actually channeling his 'inner Simba' and he's PROTECTING the pins! [/giggling] Heaven help anyone who tries to pilfer!

He just makes you think he's sleeping...beware the pounce!!!

I don't know what it is with cats and pins but every cat that has ever owned me has taken over my pins! Now, one of them steals them and has a stash somewhere in the house and I can't wait to find it. I catch her every once and awhile running out of my room with a pin in her mouth and I've yet to see where she takes them! Someday... :cheshire:
