I did a search, I might have overseen the right thread, sorry if I did ...

But I was having a convo with user Dawny, and she mentioned this to me:
At disney you can get actual felt lined thick plastic pages, you get 5 for $9

Can someone tell me a bit more about these pages? Or has a picture?
It sounds like something I might be looking for to display my pins, and I might be able then to buy them myself when going to WDW next year.

I'm looking for a nice way to display my pins, I had those plastic (baseball card) sleeves, but I'm just not happy about them, lol.

Thanks ^^

Here's a link to a store that sells them (but I would ask someone to pick some up for you rather than buy them here as the markup is quite a lot ;)) http://www.yourwdwstore.net/Disney-Pin-Trading-Binder-Refill-Pages_p_5719.html

I have these to keep my traders on, and I am very happy with them! :) They are quite stiff and can bend the pin post if you're not careful (learned the hard way ), but otherwise they are very useful, and fit in US binders (they don't fit in UK binders, not sure if it's the same in your country? :)) You get 5 fuzzy pages and 5 plastic dividers in each pack to stop the pins from clacking against each other :) Hope I helped a little! ^_^

Thanks! I'll have a look at that later tonight.

Yeah, I'm from Belgium, I've noticed the binders there seem to be different in size (and sometimes only have 3 rings? over here there are always 2 or 4).
I could always just buy a binder then when I make it to Florida, hehe.

I was going to try and be creative and use a 200gr paper (which is just a bit thicker then a regular piece of paper) and put foam / bubbles in between so the pins backs won't clash on the front of the pins on the next page.
But God knows I ain't that creative to actually make those pages out of foam / bubbles, haha!

I use the clear page sheets for holding documents (same plastic as the baseball card sheets, just no pockets) and add a heavy construction paper in them and use that. They also go in 3 ring binders and are a lot cheaper and not hard to make. This one is of my traders.

Thanks!
I might ask my friend in the US if she could find out how much it would cost to ship me a binder like that.
(though, might be cheaper to just wait till I'm there myself)

I'm just so tired of almost 30 pins still being in the envelopes I recieved them in, and hide away in a plastic container.

I might ask someone for help then next month to get me 1 or 2 of those packages ^_^
Apperently they are more expensive on the website, if they are only 9 $ at the parks.
(I have a feeling they might also charge a lot more postage)

I didn't even find a pin-bag in Disneyland Paris last weekend -_-

Thanks for showing that picture docfish2u!

I'm sure someone on here would be willing to pick you up some at the parks :D. We have many members who go quite often... Heck, if it comes down to it, I'll be going to WDW in May and will get you some then if you still need them

Thanks Dalamara :D

As mentioned, I might just do so next month, when a new pay-cheque comes in :P
Just got back from Disneyland Paris, and a bit low on funds right now, haha.

It would be nice if I could know the postage in advance though :/ I'm afraid, with the new increase it might cost a fortune for 1 or 2 packages being shipped.
Anyone an idea what 1 package might weigh? lol

*edit*
hmm, I just came across these ... pricey though o_O

I bought 2 packages last night at DTD pin traders. I think they are $8.95 and after the AP 20% discount they were like $7.80 each with tax. I'm going to put together some keeper binders for the not-so-rare pins. The rarer stuff I'll make room for in my zippered books now. I've been searching for this stuff for awhile and decided to just do the parks pages.

I use them all the time. They are great. Here is an example of my Disney Afternoon page (before I got the last pin)

Great!

Oooh, taxes? I didn't knew there were extra taxes in Florida? (I only know about Cali and Texas, unless you got them at Anaheim off course, lol).

Thanks everyone for replying!
I'll probably give this thread a *bump* somewhere next month when I have some extra money to spare, hehe.

@Moorhunhe: In the netherlands we have a shop Intertoys, those Pocket pages are actually really good!
"dutch" als je wil kan ik er wel een paar kopen en naar je verzenden ze zijn heel erg fijn en makkelijk, heb er zelf ook 40 gekocht 0.o

Oh, English is perfectly fine, hehe (since we're on an English board).

I know, I posted a thread about those on the Dutch forum :p I went to get them, but I just wasn't quite happy, haha.
I'm very picky ... lol.

I'm just wondering, if the pages are quite thick, you're still possible to put the pin-back back onto the pin?
(you know, the little Mickey Mouse head to secure the pin, I don't quite know how to say this apperently, lol)
