I like the whole helmet/face theme here but I would kill to get a Death Star pin or even some of the planets. The gold finish is a really nice touch on them.
 
Picked up Vader in the store on impulse. They have a really nice dimensional element to them. little note on Vader, some of the ones have bubbles in the enamel, so pick wisely if you get them in store.

Ya ours doesnt carry them either, but when we were paying for them, the girl ringing us up said that they are going to be doing this with special movie events/promotions at the store, so for us to be on the lookout for new pins that randomly show up at the stores.
 
yeah, my store doesnt usually have pins, but they had those MU pins and now these and I heard they will be randomly having pins again. Im excited!
 
I haven't been out to my store (debating it now) but like Chroll my store got in Monster U pins. I debated picking a few up because they were on sale for $5.00 when I was in there and am sorry I didn't. I am glad to hear they are doing this on a promotional basis, although it's too bad Frozen isn't included.

Not being near a park, I would love it if they would do an occasional "surprise" release like other places to celebrate a movie anniversary or something. It doesn't seem like a bad way to drive more traffic into the stores, which have historically struggled.

I don't even have a Disney store in my town. It closed up about 10 years ago and the next one is 20 miles away and rarely carry pins too. I did purchase this set online but was able to get free shipping so it was just the same price if I drove to a store that carried them. I'm just glad they released them all at one time unlike the MU pins which were 2 pins per week. All that waiting! :lol:
 
Yeah, when your local disney store gets their star wars section up these should be in stock!

Hopefully we see the second series soon!

Keep buying pins at your disney store!!! Show them we want to buy them!!!
 
I was at my "local" Disney store Saturday, march 1, an hr and 1/2 away and was excited to see one of the employees there wearing one on her collar. I went up to her and asked where in the store I could find them. She said that the store did not carry them, they were gave to the employees to increase interest in them and the upcoming Star Wars movie. needless to say I was disappointed to hear this. I went to collect the wife and son and seen another employee wearing another one, my sons fav character chewy and started talking to the employee that had it on. He confirmed what the other one had said, but added that they could be purchased on line. I made the statement about it being too bad that I had to purchase something online, that was only offered by the Disney store and was now going to be paying shipping when I was standing in a Disney store looking at it.
