Starting to get *really* upset and discouraged.....
Really, i tell some folks this....its no rush. Its a hobby. I highly suggest putting a strict cap on spending and play the waiting game.......Slow and steady is the way to go with the pins....or you'll end up upset, frustrated and broke.

I am looking into a 12 step program! LOL

I am a 100% firm believer when its time to own a pin it will be either a very fair trade or a very fair purchase..

The key to this hobby is patience- There has yet to be a pin that I've 'needed' I haven't been able to acquire in time (some times I've had to wait years)

Trying to finish the 2001 DCA Artist Choice set without spending the 50-60 they are asking for one of the pins was frustrating but finished that set at trade night by trading a pin valued 13/15 dollars. Or being able to acquire the Small World Jumbo Ear Hat (10/196 trade ratio) for just a B&B PoDM pin..)

The piece of movies set will drop in value for the most part (not ever below 25-30 a pin for most movies with select staying higher) but like the original Piece of History set that used to be atleast 75 a pin (with 20,000 Leagues being upwards of 250-300 at peak) can easily be found for 25-100...

I don't collect PoDM except to trade (except for a Dumbo since I collect Dumbo pins) and I really want a Tangled since that movie is special to me but figure to wait it out till I can trade one of the PoDM I already have or buy it for what I value it at- so I'm now starting to trade off what I have since I know the market will become more stagnate here within the next year or so (I've been collecting for 12 years now- 2 years is short in that world..)

Well said. Whenever I hurried and wanted something "NOW", I lost. Either I paid too much or I made fairly lop sided offers and other people were not kind enough to point out I was offering heavily in their favor.

As my very wise friend Hope reminds me most of the time "If people are rushing to one series of pins, there are likely to be deals somewhere else". I love this!! Look for other deals to arm your pin books with good traders.

Be patient and watch the sales. When Disney unleashes its next craze (but I would not hold my breath for the windows/shadows pins) a lot of people will sell their extra pins to keep up with the new pins.

Best of luck

Just noticed Stacey: Do you actually need more than 4 more, or is your signature in desperate need of an update? If it's really only 4 I'd say you have made a lot of progress.
