Surprise Release Ariel pin today
How do you find out about special releases? Sorry - new to pin trading and such. Getting used to it still (Im sure Ill be saying this for a year :/)
 
I have one to trade if anyone needs Would prefer to trade for things off my wants list but equal works too

The magical manifestations pins are coming out every other month this year. They released the Cinderella pin in January which didn't sell very quick at all. I'm not sure about how well the Ariel will do but I'm sure Rob will find out for sure tomorrow. I am going to Epcot on Saturday and will check then too
 
i haven't been very impressed with this series. I got some of the Cinderella for trading...but so far have found all the pins unattractive. To each their own, I'm sure some of the pins I really like, don't do much for others.

I'm glad they are making some people happy.

Is it just me or is there a color error on this pin? The hair above Ariel's right shoulder looks strangely uneven; is there possibly an unfinished bow in the works there? Idk...other than that the pin is gorgeous. I brought one on eBay earlier.

I'm not a fan of this one. Her face looks weird and they chopped off her big blue bow...but it looks like they kept the bottom ribbon part of the bow and filled it in with her hair color. :facepalm:

I must agree.... I kinda don't want it because again the artwork is fairly sloppy (NOT as bad as the Carousel Rapunzel) but I kinda do bc it's Ariel... hmm... rock and a hard place here :dunno::facepalm: LOL

But yes PrincessBecky is right about the missing bow.... u can see where part of Ariel's hair is pulled back (like how the bow is supposed to hold her hair), and u can see the two end pieces of the bow and they are colored red to match her hair instead of using the whole blue bow :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Not as bad as the Rapunzel carousel... but doesn't justify the error... WTH DISNEY?!?!?! XDDDD

Hello and welcome! Most pin releases can be found at www.odpt.com. The Ariel pin release we found out about as we waited in line for the release of the 13 Pin featuring Malificent. The Ariel pin is part of a series at WDW. We just had no idea it was going to be released on this day. Happy trading!
