I am so in the bitter sweet world! We are all anticipating the Beauty and the Beast POM release. I was so excited for DLR POM-Beauty & the Beast Release 11/23/12 but just found out I have traditions that day at 7:30 am. Traditions (new cast member orientation). I was so excited for this release that I was willing o starve myself on the sidewalk and skip thanksgiving. Im not sure what to do.... Should I wait in line and then leave and have my Mum take my place? I don't want to get shot thats for sure. ughh but im excited to start a new career with Disney. What should a Prince do?:anxious::cry:

What time were you planning to get in line? Hmm, I'd say ask momma to stand in line for you :)

And have a great CM orientation!

You were never a face character.

Er... gotta wonder, do you know PrinceEric personally to assuredly say this...? Otherwise why would you say something like that...? o_o

Anyway, Eric, job comes first :) That's a wonderful job to have and you wouldn't want to miss or be late for traditions. After all, you can't buy pins without money and a job gives you money soooo ... :D Isn't there a family member or friend you could ask to stand in line for you...? Also, maybe you could get one at 1:00 pm (hopefully they will have some left!) If not, a few people here on the forums may pick one up for you as long as you pay a little extra for gas/effort, you just might have to ask a bit and be patient. Try not to worry, you got some options open to you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you :)

First, let me jump in here and say that it NEVER is appropriate to call someone out on the forums - especially when you have no basis for doing so. To quote Thumper: 'If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nothin' at all.'

Now, Prince Eric, to get back to your situation, here's what I would do: is there someone you can find to get the pin for you? Or maybe ask someone here to help you out, if you offer a little extra to compensate for inconvenience and effort? I'm not a cast member, but I would think it more important for you to be well-rested for your Traditions. You could check to see if there are pins available at 1.00 pm - and there might be for the park stores, considering how many passes are blocked out (fingers crossed that's the case for you, if that's what you decide to do).

In any case, fingers crossed this works out for you, dearie. I know how badly you want this pin and I hope you are able to get one.

awww this sucks i'm sorry I know how excited you have been for this release.
but i'm sure you will be able to trade for it many people are using these as traders.
I myself wont know until the day after if I have an extra but if I do I will pm you first=)

Prince Eric your not sync'd to your Pinpics, I went looking for your trades, My son is tagging along with me to get himself one and helping out a fellow DPF member by getting her one too, he wants to trade his and I will have a second for trade, I am happy to check out your trades, what is you Pinpics ID. Also good luck, I don't know what transitions is, (I don't work for Disney, but wish I could work there just to go to the Company D store, :) ) but good luck to you, have fun, and enjoy, congrats on the new job, It is much more important than a pin, the pins you want eventually come to you.

P.M me with the info, I'll take a look - see

Yes, Disney is open 365 days a year. That's the first thing they tell you when you start working for them :( it sucks :(
