The Bradford Exchange Winks From Tink Collection
I wonder what that means, first issue? As in the first pin? Five bucks for one isn't that bad a price.

Those are really cute, though. I'm totally digging the Shy, Happy and Confident pins.

In the fine print it says: "Your collection continues with sets of two Tinker Bell pins at just $14.95 for each pin (plus $1.95 shipping and service)."

I don't think it's 8.50 per pin. I think it means that you will receive 2 pins in one shipment, so your bill per shipment will be $14.95 + $14.95 + $1.95. Or $15.93 per pin. It says "per pin" not "per set."

yep just changed that post....still for the quality of the pins...20 bucks per pin is not bad....we pay that much on ds.com for lower quality and crappy service!

Thanks for this post! I really like this collection. The pins look great, and I like the concept.

For those who haven't looked closely, here is a list of all 20 pins, in order of how they are organized in the wooden chest in the picture:

~ "Innocent"
~ "Flirty"
~ "Happy"
~ "Magical"
~ "Sensitive"
~ "Lucky"
~ "Sweet"
~ "Sassy"
~ "Charming"
~ "Shy"
~ "Hopeful"
~ "Talkative"
~ "Ecstatic"
~ "Funny"
~ "Confident"
~ "Surprised"
~ "Goofy"
~ "Peaceful"
~ "Puzzled"
~ "Advetnturous"(sic)

I personally really like "Magical", "Sensitive", "Charming", "Hopeful", "Confident", and "Adventurous".

*Laramie, next time you email them, could you ask if they are planning to fix the misspelling of Adventurous in the chest? This would make a big difference to me in whether I order the collection or not. Also what is the deadline to order the collection in time for the first issue?

Here's what I came up with on the price:

Issue 1
- $ 4.94 1 "Magical"
- $ .01 (shipping)

Issue 2
- $14.95 2 "Flirty"
- $14.95 3 "Lucky"
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 3
- $14.95 4 "Sweet"
- $14.95 5 unknown (listed as "Affectionate", but there is no "Affectionate" pictured in the wooden chest)
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 4
- Free Wooden Collectors Chest
- $ 3.90 (shipping)

Issue 5
- $14.95 6 "Sensitive"
- $14.95 7 "Happy"
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 6
- $14.95 8 "Sassy"
- $14.95 9 "Charming"
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 7
- $14.95 10 unknown
- $14.95 11 unknown
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 8
- $14.95 12 unknown
- $14.95 13 unknown
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 9
- $14.95 14 unknown
- $14.95 15 unknown
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 10
- $14.95 16 unknown
- $14.95 17 unknown
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 11
- $14.95 18 unknown
- $14.95 19 unknown
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

Issue 12 (I'm not positive that this is how the last one will be)
- $14.95 20 unknown
- $ 1.95 (shipping)

If this is correct, the total final cost of the subscription would be $312.40.

When divided by 20, this equals $15.62 per pin.

Ok so bradford exchange emailed me back...they said they did not know exactly how many pins are going to be made, but that all of their products eventually retire. As far as correcting the misspelled word....they said that it could not be fixed as the box has already been printed for the run? Odd as they don't know how many pins will be made....lol

its a lovely set, but seems a bit odd that they would produce it with a selling mistake and possible more pins than it could hold.
No, no, no. They know for sure there will be 20 pins in the series. (Which is how many the box holds.)

What they don't know is the edition size of each pin. They will just make as many as they get orders for, until they stop taking orders. Therefore, Laramie thought it was odd that the boxes have all already been made, since they don't know how many will be ordered.

For Nettie: I still see the picture of the chest when I click on Laramie's link in the original post above. I'm not sure why it isn't there for you, when you click on it. But here it is, for anyone who can't see it:

Here's a close-up, so that you can see the misspelling of Adventurous ("Advetnturous") in the bottom right-hand corner:

These are very nice. I think I will get them since I also got the Willabee and Ward pins. The collector cases are very nice.

Got a post card in the mail today saying that Flirty & Lucky have sold out and I would not receive them. I called and they said that because of low demand on the first one that they cancel the set. There are still 1,000s of the first one left over.

such a shame!!! I wouldve liked to of had a set, but oh well, just have to look at it as money saved! lol

Hi all, I was lucky enough to find 14 of these yesterday on the 127 World's Longest Yard Sale. I've sent the pics to pinpics so they are now showing the actual pins for most of them.
I would love to get the other 6 if anyone finds a stash of these.

What the heck?!

I guess they ended up selling them after all, when we weren't looking.

Thanks for sharing the pics, Mas. Up until today, I had only seen concept art of all of them except the first issue, "Magical", which I have for trade. I was wondering how a lot of these would turn out.

I wonder if they even made the last six pins.
