COLLECTION This is not a collection. This just happened somehow.

COLLECTION This is not a collection. This just happened somehow.
:p

All I need... ahem... wouldn't mind having (I mean... fostering) are three more Loki pins, one Winter Soldier, one StarLord and one Drax. That's it. Anything else would just be nice to see... on someone else's lanyard. :p
I'm glad you clarified that. We wouldn't want any confusion or misunderstandings about the status of your collection ... er ... foster pins. :p

So the one lanyard somehow became two. And then got too big for them, so then this happened...

You know, true fact, chaos theory demonstrates that ‘like’ things segregate together, so really, this is simply an example of theoretical physics at work!
Plus, they’re just so flippin adorable!

Actually putting them all together I'm hoping will help me focus in on which ones I truly want to hang onto longer and which ones I can send out into the world sooner. :)

But yeah. Stupid cute together! :)

And I traded for another Spider-Man pin yesterday. Because it was there.

This really needs to stop. :p

After I get some pins of Winter Soldier and maybe Vision. And more Loki pins. Maybe another Star-Lord and a Drax...

Winter Soldier has been a surprisingly tough one. There’s a really expensive Vision out there.
For Winter Soldier, I really just want the 2016 Skottie Young NYCC pin (not the SDCC version though that one is cute too). I really want the Loki pin from that NYCC set, too. Those are probably my two biggest Marvel wants.

For Vision I haven't really found a "must have" pin yet, but he's a character I love.

I'm not really interested in the DSSH Marvel pins. They're big and lovely overall, but although nobody here believes me :p since I'm NOT actually collecting Marvel nor keeping them longterm (other than maybe my Loki pins) - I'm just playing around with getting the low-end/less expensive ones that I can easily get my hands on and will at some point let go to their permanent homes. It just gives me something to play with since my actual wants list is small and moves so slowly! :)

Maybe this is why Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger keep sneaking their way into my collection...and now my wants list....???

Hmmm... I'm no psychiatrist, but I think I might detect a whiff of denial here... but like I said, not a psychiatrist so I'm sure I'm incorrect. ;)

LOL I know it sounds like denial. But as someone who's invested 19 years into Wonderland pin collecting and once or twice seen other little mini-groupings rise and fall in my trade bag... yeah, this isn't a collection. Though I don't see my Loki pins ever going anywhere. :) Everything else? Yeah, we'll see... :p

But for reference - here's what the board now looks like (minus one pin from the last grouping because as I've said, these aren't a collection and I decided it didn't look right with the rest of the board so it's back in my trade bag!):

No harm meant, I was just teasing you! :) I'm sure that these are absolutely nowhere near comparable to how huge your 19-year Alice collection must be! Now THAT sounds like a truly impressive collection!

:D I know it was teasing, but I also know that people don't believe me even though I've spent all these years completely focused on my one collection. Because many people DO get sidetracked by the shiny :) - for me this is just a fun way to pass the time while still hunting for the few Wonderland pins in existence that I don't yet own (aka what's in my sig). lol Although I do still wind up trading for Wonderland duplicates, too!

Eventually these shinies on the board will all go to new homes. Except Loki. :D Because Loki. :) And maybe just one or two others...
