Today's D23 Shopping Day at Mickey's of Glendale

I was hoping somebody would've posted something by now. I'm going to the shopping day on May 10 and was hoping to get a sneak preview of what's to come :) I'll have to make sure to post something about my trip.

Ya, that's why I'm going to that particular date. Since I've never been to Mickey's I was hoping to see some good pics of what kinds of things I could expect in May.

What are the recycle bins? Bins of old pins that are no longer being sold at the parks?

No pictures allowed inside of WDI. So you won't be getting a report other than maybe pins people bought and aren't sold out. They could take pictures of those pins after the event. Typically just go to Pinpics, search WDI only and click to the most recent pages. If it's a really good pin, it's probably sold out. If it's a crappy pin or really obscure then it is probably still there.

I went and actually left empty handed. There was really nothing I wanted to buy. The Easter pins had sold out, they had a few different pressed pennies (they were having a pressed penny sale) like Buzz Lightyear, Tron, etc., a few of the train cars left from Christmas and a couple of sorcerer hat characters which looked to me to be maybe Bug's Life characters? Granted I got there late and I saw some other folks posting on Instagram with Mike and Sulley and Mater sorcerer hat pins so obviously they had more earlier in the day but there was nothing amazing in my opinion. The May 10th event should be much better with Imagineers there to talk about the Snow White Mine Train and they will have pins for the event. This past Saturday's event was just a pure shopping event with just the DCA recycling bins released.
