Hello everyone,

I am pretty new to pin collecting and I am wondering if a pin I recently acquired "Pin 8256: JDS Walt Disney 100th Year - Princesses #8 (Esmeralda)"would be better set up as a trade auction or plain trade? There are 19 trading and 78 wanting according to PinPics.

I am not looking for any specific pins, I just don't feel like starting a new collection right now, and Esmeralda/Hunchback is not on my main list (though it is a gorgeous pin).

Do you think it would get any attention?

I think it would do well in an auction since Hunchback seems to be growing in popularity. I blame Psycho Pixie for that. Seems like every time she starts a new collection others jump on also.

You should link your pinpics id here so others know what you are looking for.
 
Thank you for the responses everyone! Seems there is some interest, I will probably be putting this up for a trade auction within the next few days.

@ docfish2u I'm actually having trouble figuring out PinPics, is there a thread where I can get info on it? That would really help me out, thank you for the suggestion ^^
 
yes i want it, poo on you spectroman! lol You definetly have to have your pinpics in order to have a good auction in my opinion. first go to pinpics and register. it is free and you just make a user name (easier i find to keep in the same as on here but thats just me) and a password and then you have to kinda self tutor yourself around on there and start adding your pins, traders and wants...it takes time so dont rush your auction, we are not going anyplace.
 

I seriously want to start collecting Esmeralda and Hunchback pins in general, but I've promised myself I can't start another collection until my current ones start to grow a little more.

Though this is a beautiful pin and would no doubt do very well in an auction, and I like most people suggest using Pinpics to make it easier for people to find what you own and what you want.

I know seriously!! lol First the centaqurettes, and then hunchback... next it will be the dragons. haha!

I have this pin, it is absolutly adorable! There are not a TONN of people after HoND yet, so a trade might be better.

PM me for help with your pinpics, letting me know what you need help with. such as searching, using trase assistant etc.... I am getting pretty darn good at that database.
