i haven't traded in a while now for a lot of reasons. main reason is, it's just not fun anymore!!! too many rude people and too many people selling high but buying/trading low. i am especially frustrated with the people that buy a pin for $9 and sell for $25 yet they are the first people to tell you "well your pin sold for such and such." yes, and i would have paid the sold for price if i lived anywhere near FL or CA. i don't, so i have to pay the marked up price if i want it.
i have always tried to be a great trader. i don't trade based on wants/trades or value$$$. i trade what you want for what i want, period. then, people take advantage of that fact and think i'm blind to it. i do miss trading though. i hate buying, but it seems to be the only way you can get anything you're looking for. so, i want to leave but i want to stay too. :-(
below are pins i have for trade right now. i would rather NOT sell. if you have pins on my wants list you have and you know yours is higher value, make me an offer. i have traded multiple pins and i don't have a problem with it (be fair!). i also won't be taken advantage of anymore. being nice just leaves me with one pin (covered in damage that was never mentioned none the less!) for the 5 i traded. another big reason this isn't fun anymore. 9 out of the last 12 trades i had were covered in damage. this isn't just dpf, it's instagram, fb, every trade site does this. one is not better than the other unfortunately.
if you want to trade, please mention if the pin has damage. i am always really let down by people that trade pins without details about it. i send photos of the front and back before every trade. i make a link just for your ID for you to view it on.
i would like to find some of the hard to find pins on my wants list because i would like to trade a bunch of pins at once to get rid of my traders. as i said, it's just not fun for me anymore.
please be patient. i live in PA and i am on eastern time. i have 2 kids. one is potty training right now (parents know how fun that is! very time consuming) and the other is getting ready for summer camp this monday! i will answer each message in the order i get them. i will try my best to update what is gone when it happens.
oh, and i am ONLY posting this on dpf. i won't be that person that posts the same thing on 4 sites and tries to keep up with who was first and mixes trades up to send you the wrong one. (GRRRRR)
sorry for the rant. i'm just over it and i want to trade because it WAS fun before. i just don't want to have another trade that is NOT fun. if that is you as well, let's make a trade!
i do think i traded one of these below though, so i have to see if i still have it or not. i will update.
my main collection is dumbo. i will be looking for dumbo pins i am missing first. then, there are other disney animal pins. i don't collect many human characters unless they are enchanted, hercules, sword in the stone, etc. you can see what i am looking for on my pinpics.
